"There are a lot of peoples and cultures here, and we came up with the Winter Wizards festival in order to show children and tell all these stories so that they understand," the actor who played the magician told Izvestia.

According to him, the participants of the performance wanted to explain to the children that in Russia there is not only Santa Claus, but also many other different "winter wizards".

"Great, just great. The kids are so funny and mischievous. Their eyes sparkle, their faces light up with smiles. For me, an old man, this is the best gift on the eve of the New Year," said the All—Russian Santa Claus from Veliky Ustyug.

On December 20, Mikhail Artamonov, Head of the Department of Public Projects of the Defenders of the Fatherland State Foundation, announced the launch of the New Year's project "Victory Tree" at the Victory Museum. According to him, the number of project participants is increasing every year. This year, the event will be attended by over 1,000 children from 38 regions.
