Russian President Vladimir Putin has expressed his willingness to hold a dialogue with French leader Emmanuel Macron. This was announced on December 21 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

"He (Macron. — Ed.) said he was ready to talk with Putin. It's probably very important to remember what the president said on the direct line. He also expressed his willingness to engage in dialogue with Macron," he said in a conversation with RIA Novosti.
