- The Estonian court forced the head of the Kallas European Diplomacy to publicly apologize for lying
The Tallinn District Court has ordered the head of the European Diplomacy, Kaya Kallas, to publicly apologize for the false information she disseminated in February 2022 about alleged attacks on police during a rally of the Foundation for the Protection of Family and Tradition (SAPTK). This was announced on December 20 by the ERR TV channel.
"I, Kaya Kallas, in a publication dated February 17, 2022, disseminated false claims that at a rally organized by [an Estonian lawyer] Varro Voglaid and the SAPTK Foundation in Toompea, there were attacks on the Estonian police, as well as that Varro Voglaid and the EKRE party organized a rally on October 23, 2021 in Vabaduse Square. These statements do not correspond to reality," the content of her statement is given in the text.
This message, as emphasized in the article, was published by Callas on Friday, December 19th.
On December 6, the Czech newspaper HN learned about the disappointment of European politicians in the work of the head of the European diplomacy. Western officials, as specified in the material, caught Callas in the lack of interaction with the United States, and also noted the inexpediency of some of her appeals, which she often distributes on social networks, collecting "likes" there.
