Unknown persons doused the Polish consulate in Brussels with red paint, wrote offensive slogans on the facade of the building and scattered dog droppings in front of the entrance. This was announced on December 20 by RMF FM radio station.

It is noted that the incident occurred on December 18 before the summit of the heads of the European Union (EU) countries, but it became known only now.

The door, the facade of the building and the coat of arms of Poland were covered with red paint, while the word "murderers" is written in English on the board indicating that the building is the residence of the Polish consulate.

The author of the article notes that the Belgian police are already investigating and studying the recordings from the cameras, which show how a group of masked people are painting the building, and one of them is filming on his phone.

On December 19, the Investigative Committee of Russia completed an investigation into the case of a Ukrainian citizen who doused the Russian ambassador to Poland with red paint.

On May 9, 2022, outraged Poles and Ukrainians were waiting for Ambassador Sergei Andreev, his wife and a group of diplomats in Warsaw, who blocked their way to the monument to lay flowers at the memorial cemetery of Soviet soldiers, shouting offensive slogans, and then doused with red paint.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
