The construction of an educational complex designed for 400 children has been completed in the Nizhny Novgorod region of Moscow. The facility was built on Perovskoye Highway and combines an elementary school and kindergarten in one building. This was announced by the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, in his channel in the IACH.

An elementary school is located in one wing of the complex, and a preschool department is located in the second. In the central part of the building there is a full-cycle food hall with a dining room, a medical center and a media library.

Classrooms, a laboratory and research complex for natural sciences, recreation areas, halls for physical education and events are equipped for schoolchildren. The kindergarten has eight groups with play areas, sleeping and buffet areas, as well as facilities for matinees, music and sports activities.

The adjacent territory includes recreational spaces with shade canopies, two sports grounds with sports complexes, recreation areas and beds with a greenhouse for educational experiments. Bike parking and storage areas for strollers, scooters and sleds are also provided. 52 trees and more than 4 thousand shrubs were planted as part of the landscaping.

"There should be more educational institutions near home in the capital, the comfort and convenience of families with children depends on this," the mayor stressed.

Currently, 12 more educational facilities are under construction in the Southern Administrative District.
