Alexey Govyrin, a deputy of the State Duma (State Duma), a member of the United Russia party, said that the amount of the lump sum allowance for the birth of a child will be approximately 28.7 thousand rubles from February 1, 2026.

"The one—time allowance for the birth of a child will increase to 28,773 rubles from February 1," he said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
