A rare shark washed ashore in northern Peru for the second time in a month
A rare pelagic largemouth shark washed ashore on the northern coast of Peru, this happened for the second time in a month. This was announced on December 18 by the English portal Need To Know (NTK).
"An elusive deep—sea giant, one of the least common sharks on the planet. <...> A 4.3 m shark was discovered on Wednesday (December 17) between Gaviotas beach and the fishing town of Yasila in the Piura region," the publication says.
