Bogdan Rynzhuk, the son of Ukraine's ambassador to Bulgaria Olesya Ilashchuk, was detained on suspicion of murdering the 21-year-old son of Kharkiv's vice mayor in Vienna. This was reported on December 19 by the Ukrainian edition "Страна.иа ".

"The assessment of the situation related to my son's detention should be based solely on official data and court decisions, and not on assumptions or emotional comments," the ambassador commented to the Ukrainian media.
