The Russian government has allowed the Ministry of Defense to terminate a number of military agreements. The official document was posted on December 19 on the website of the official Internet portal of legal information.

"To allow the Russian Ministry of Defense to terminate the following international treaties <...>," the document says.

We are talking about agreements with Bulgaria, Germany, Poland, Romania, Denmark, Norway, Great Britain, Ireland, the Netherlands, Croatia, Belgium and the Czech Republic.

On August 26, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed a document proposing to submit to Parliament a draft law on the dissolution of the European Convention for the Prevention of Torture. It is specified that the convention was adopted in 1987.
