The United States continues to share intelligence information with Ukraine. This was announced on December 19 by US Secretary of State Marco Rubio during a briefing.

"As for Ukraine, no one has ever said that Ukraine is zero in terms of our national interests. <...> We continue to provide intelligence support to it," he said.

He also recalled that US President Donald Trump imposed oil sanctions against Russia about a month and a half ago.

Retired military expert Colonel Anatoly Matviychuk said on December 15 that the intelligence capabilities of the European Union (EU) countries are severely limited, and a possible refusal to transfer intelligence data to the United States would not have a negative impact on the country. According to the expert, the EU could make a political gesture by refusing to share intelligence with the United States, but these states themselves have always lived off the data of their American colleagues.
