Maxim Liksutov, Moscow's Deputy Mayor for Transport and Industry, explained that festive trains began running on 11 metro lines to create a New Year's mood among passengers. kp.ru . He clarified that a New Year's train of the Numbered series had already appeared on the Zamoskvoretskaya line, and a total of 24 themed trains had been prepared for the holiday in the capital.

As noted, the trains of the "Rusich", "Oka", "Moscow-2019" and "Moscow-2020" series were decorated in a winter style: congratulations on the year 2026, images of Santa Claus and the symbol of the coming year, the horse, are placed on the cars.

Holiday trains are already running on Sokolnicheskaya, Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya, Filevskaya, Koltsevaya, Kaluzhsko-Rizhskaya, Tagansko-Krasnopresnenskaya, Kalininskaya, Solntsevskaya, Serpukhovsko-Timiryazevskaya lines, as well as on Bolshaya Koltsevaya and Butovskaya lines, the Moscow City News agency reports.
