Russians Oleg Olshansky and Sergey Ivin were arrested in Bulgaria at the request of the United States. This was announced on December 19 at the Russian Embassy.

"A decision has been made to extradite Oleg Olshansky, but the defense side plans to appeal. According to Sergei Ivin, the court has not yet held a hearing on the merits of the case," RIA Novosti news agency quoted the diplomatic mission as saying.
