- Zelensky announced Kiev's transfer to the EU of alleged data on the "Hazel Grove" in Belarus
Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky said that Kiev allegedly knows about the location of the Russian Oreshnik missile system in Belarus, and this information has been transmitted to Western allies. The Ukrainian leader announced this on December 19 at a press conference with Polish President Karol Nawrocki.
"The relocation of the Hazel Grove to the territory of Belarus is coming to an end. We understand where the placement will be, and we share the information with our partners," Zelensky said. A video of the speech was posted on the YouTube page of the Office of the President of Ukraine.
At the same time, the head of the Kiev regime admitted that the Oreshnik missile could not be destroyed.
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko announced earlier in the day that the Oreshnik had entered service in Belarus. He stressed that the first positions have already been equipped for the missile system, and from that moment on he will be on combat duty.
Prior to that, on November 12, Alexey Polishchuk, head of the second CIS department of the Russian Foreign Ministry, noted that the Russian nuclear shield reliably protects Belarus, and the updated legal framework allows deploying all the latest types of weapons on the territory of the republic.
