Auto expert predicted the price of new Moskvich models

New crossovers from the Moskvich automobile plant's M-line will cost about 3-4 million rubles. Maxim Kadakov, the editor-in-chief of Za Rulem magazine, published such a forecast in his Telegram channel on December 19.

So, according to the auto expert, the new Moskvich M70 will cost about 3 million rubles. At first, it will be presented in front-wheel drive, later all-wheel drive will appear. The engine range will include 1.5 and 2 liter units.

The Moskvich M90 will cost about 4 million rubles, Kadakov suggested. This is a large seven-seat model with a 200-horsepower two-liter engine, a nine-speed automatic and all-wheel drive.

"Both cars drive much more thoroughbred than the modern Muscovites we already know. I'm more impressed with the M70's combination of a two-liter engine and a nine-speed automatic transmission. We generally love this combination. The M70 is more dynamic, while the M90 is a smooth, comfortable car. By the way, I like the beige-coffee color of the interior in the M90, it looks very good," said the auto expert.

Moskvich Automobile Plant announced new crossovers on December 16. Both models are no longer based on JAC models, as before, but on cars of the British-Chinese MG brand.

On December 4, it was reported that in November 2025, 1,400 new Moskvich cars were sold in Russia, which is 47% less than in the same month last year.
