The development of a digital export roadmap will be a strategic response for Russia to global economic challenges and will strengthen the position of domestic companies in the global market. This was stated to Izvestia by Nadezhda Moskovkina, Senior Business Development Manager at the Wholesale and Retail Department of Reksoft.

According to her, the rational core of the initiative is to avoid direct competition with the world's largest players — China, the EU and the United States — on their traditional trading platforms. Moscow should focus its efforts on those market niches where it has sustainable advantages.

"The most promising is the active development of the presence of Russian companies in the dynamically growing marketplaces of Asia, Africa and the Middle East. It is important for exporters to offer niche categories at these sites, not mass—produced products, from environmentally friendly food products to specialized solutions. This will help diversify exports and avoid direct competitive pressure from technology giants," Moskovkina explained.

The expert also pointed out the need to create a national B2B showcase under a common brand of trust, which could guarantee the origin and authenticity of products. In her opinion, such a platform will ensure transparency of cross-border trade and strengthen the trust of foreign partners in Russian suppliers.

Earlier it became known that the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin instructed the responsible departments to develop a roadmap for the export of Russian goods and solutions through digital platforms by March 31. Several orders are devoted to the development of exports of Russian goods and simplification of customs procedures for the import of imported products. The document will also have to take into account measures to protect against the sale of counterfeit products in the framework of electronic commerce.
