Omoda has halved its product line in the Russian market. The S5 and S5 GT sedans dropped out of it, according to the Chinese Cars portal on December 19.

On the official website of the Omoda S5 and S5 GT brands, they have been moved to the "archived models" section, while car dealers still have several copies of these models. Both were redesigned Chinese Chery Arrizo 5 Plus and Arrizo 5 GT and had been on the Russian market for just over two years.

The S5 sedan went on sale in the spring of 2023, and its "sporty" version, the S5 GT, appeared in the fall of the same year. By the end of 2025, the price of the first was 2.12 million rubles, the second - 2.5 million rubles.

The brand's press service explained that Omoda plans to focus on a range of crossovers in Russia, as they are in high demand. Thus, there are no direct replacements for the S5 and S5 GT. Now the Russian line of the brand includes the C5 and C7 crossovers.

On December 3, Geely discontinued the Emgrand sedan in Russia, and the model was dropped from the line on the brand's official website. The press service of the Chinese brand said that new deliveries of such cars to Russia are not planned.
