Russian Ambassador to Copenhagen Vladimir Barbin was summoned to the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs after statements by the kingdom's authorities about Moscow's alleged involvement in cyber attacks. This was announced by the diplomat himself on December 19.

"The Danish side has not provided evidence of its accusations of Russia's involvement in cyber attacks on Denmark," he told RIA Novosti.

The ambassador stated that he considers the accusations as unfair speculation, which he does not intend to discuss.

On December 12, Russian Ambassador Sergey Nechaev rejected German accusations of Russia's alleged involvement in cyber attacks on the German air traffic control service.
