The driver of the car was killed in a collision with a truck on the Tyumen– Omsk highway

A 41-year-old man was killed in a collision between a passenger car and a truck in Tyukalinsky district of the Omsk region. This is reported by the regional State Traffic Inspectorate.

The accident occurred on Friday morning, December 19, on the 531st km of the Tyumen–Omsk federal highway. According to preliminary data, the 41-year-old driver of a Hyundai passenger car drove into oncoming traffic and crashed into a Shacman truck with a semi-trailer.

Judging by the photos from the scene, the truck tipped over on its side as a result of the collision, and the passenger car was seriously deformed. The Hyundai driver died on the spot before the ambulance arrived, OmskMedia said.

The police are conducting a check on the fatal accident. All circumstances are being established.

On the same day, a Toyota Esquire minivan crashed into the back of a Sitrak semi-trailer on the Kolyma federal highway in Yakutia. As a result, two men and a woman were killed.
