In the Nizhneilimsky district of the Irkutsk region, a man died as a result of a fire in an uninhabited building. This is reported by the regional Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia.

The fire occurred on Thursday evening, December 18, in the village of Staraya Igirma. An uninhabited house on Stroitelnaya Street caught fire.

As a result, a 36-year-old man with no fixed place of residence died. According to the information of the Ministry of Emergency Situations investigators, he made his way inside the house and fell asleep on the couch with an unlit cigarette.

The fire area was 5 square meters, writes IA IrkutskMedia. Three people and two tanker trucks were involved in extinguishing the fire.

On the morning of December 17, a fire broke out in a one-story apartment building in the village of Seledkovo in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. As a result, a woman and two men were killed.
