Creative and culinary workshops for children will be held as part of "Winter in Moscow".

Creative, engineering and culinary workshops will be organized for children during the Journey to Christmas festival, which takes place within the framework of the Winter in Moscow project, said Natalia Sergunina, Deputy Mayor of the capital.

"Classes are held at the central and district festival venues. We invite children and their parents to get acquainted with various creative techniques and crafts, folklore, modern technologies, cultural and architectural heritage of Moscow and the whole country," said Sergunina.

On Krasnodarskaya Street, guests are offered to create an Advent calendar in the form of the Perlov tea house on Myasnitskaya Street and fill it with different types of tea. On Tverskaya Square, children make candles from natural wax, learn the basics of embossing and craft metal Christmas decorations. And in the park on Olonetsky Passage, children paint ceramic and wooden Christmas Tree toys.

Scientific, engineering and technological workshops are held at the festival site on Veshnyakovskaya Street. One of the most popular areas is working with neural networks. Using AI, you can generate postcards, create a digital comic or a short film. In addition, guests are taught the basics of 3D modeling: they design and manufacture phone stands, car models or buildings.

Winter cooking studios are open in 10 locations in the capital, including Dmitry Donskoy Boulevard, Teply Stan and Trade Union Streets. Novice chefs will prepare a soup of mashed baked vegetables with cream and green peas, olivier, chicken in cream sauce with mushrooms, mint cheesecakes, lollipops with an orange note and cookies in the form of Christmas toys.

"Journey to Christmas" runs from December 12 to January 11. New Year's performances, concerts, charity and patriotic events were prepared for the visitors of 35 venues. Those who wish can give gifts to the participants of the SVO and residents of new regions.
