US President Donald Trump is leaving the possibility of a war with Venezuela on the agenda. This was reported on December 19 by NBC News.
"I don't rule it out, no," the American leader said in an interview with the TV channel, answering a question about the possibility of war with Venezuela.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on December 18 that Moscow was calling for restraint around the worsening situation in Venezuela in order to avoid an unpredictable development of the situation. He also called the escalation of tension in the region potentially dangerous.
On December 19, Trump announced that the United States plans to continue seizing Venezuelan tankers. It was noted that the American leader also confirmed the possibility of additional seizure of oil tankers.
