More than 800 thousand residents of the Moscow region checked their reproductive health

Since the beginning of 2025, more than 817,000 residents of the Moscow Region have undergone reproductive medical examinations. Citizens from 18 to 49 years old can do this.

Women are referred for consultation by an obstetrician-gynecologist, ultrasound of the pelvic organs and mammary glands, cytology. And men get advice from a urologist. If necessary, they can take additional tests, including an infection test, a spermogram, and an ultrasound scan of the prostate gland.

According to Maxim Zabelin, deputy chairman of the regional government and Minister of Health, quoted by the Podmoskovye Segodnya online publication, it is important to take care of your health, including reproductive health.
Medical examinations can be carried out in regional medical institutions at the place of attachment completely free of charge. To do this, you need a passport and an MHI policy.

In mid-December, it was reported that since the beginning of 2025, almost 5 million people in the Moscow region have undergone preventive examinations and medical examinations in medical institutions. 142 thousand patients were diagnosed with diseases they did not know about. According to the Ministry of Health of the region, over 2.8 thousand cases of cancer were detected during examinations and medical examinations.
