The Investigative Committee of the Lipetsk region has launched a preliminary investigation into the death of a fisherman on the Plovutka River in the Dobrinsky district. According to preliminary data, the fisherman drowned.

According to GOROD48 with reference to the regional Investigative Committee, on December 18, an 80-year-old man disappeared who went fishing on the river Plovutka. His gear was left on the ice.

Later, the man's body was found in the river. It turned out that he was a resident of the village of Fedorovka. The circumstances of his death are being investigated.

In early December, it was reported that a man's body was found in the Voronezh River in Lipetsk. An eyewitness reported that a man's body in clothes was seen near the fishing bridges near Petrovsky Bridge. The deceased was pulled out of the water by rescuers.
