Experts have found out the timing of the compilation of vishnists by Muscovites for the New Year

The number of Muscovites using the services of websites for compiling lists of coveted New Year's gifts tripled in November compared to the same period last year. This was reported by Megafon experts who have prepared an analysis of traffic changes to online playlists in the capital.

According to the company, the growth of activity on the Vishlist services began before December 4, when the day of writing letters to Santa Claus is celebrated. This year, Moscow residents started planning in October. According to experts, this is due to the desire to avoid unnecessary fuss and excitement during the pre-holiday period.

Muscovites aged 25-34 turned out to be the most organized in New Year's preparation — they account for 36% of the total number of list compilers. The share of users aged 35-44 who try to make it easier for their loved ones is 34%. People aged 45-54 also tend to avoid surprises — 16% belong to this group. This year, women are 2.3 times more likely to use such services than in the past, and overall they account for 63% of traffic.

As established in Megafon, Muscovites are engaged in compiling such lists mainly in the second half of the working week. For example, on Thursday, traffic to such resources is 17% higher than the weekly average.
