The Investigative Committee of Russia has completed an investigation into the case of a Ukrainian citizen who doused the Russian ambassador to Poland with red paint. This was stated in the press service of the department on December 19 in the official Telegram channel.

"Alexander Bastrykin has been informed about the completion of the investigation of the criminal case against Ukrainian citizen Irina Zemlyana. According to the investigation, on May 9, 2022, motivated by political and ideological hatred, she attacked the Russian ambassador to the Republic of Poland and splashed red liquid on his face and clothes," the message said.
