WP talked about the "orbital battle" of the satellites of the USA and China

The satellites of the United States and China entered into an "orbital battle", carrying out espionage activities against each other, in February 2022. This was reported on December 18 by The Washington Post (WP).

The meeting of the satellites of the superpowers took place at an altitude of about 22,000 miles (35.4 thousand km) above the Earth. Since 2022, none of the parties has recognized the battle of aircraft in outer space.

"Orbital battles" of satellites are called the flight of vehicles past each other at close range. During the maneuver, the satellites take photos for further study of the systems on board.

"Most of the "orbital battles" in space are aimed solely at espionage," the publication says.

The China Daily portal reported on December 13 that China successfully launched the Kuaizhou-11 launch vehicle with two satellites. The launch took place at 09:08 Beijing time (04:08 Moscow time) from the Jiuquan cosmodrome in the north of the country. This was the fourth flight for Kuaizhou-11.
