The level of trust in Russian President Vladimir Putin, according to the results of a survey conducted between December 12 and December 14 among 1.5 thousand Russians, was 78%. The relevant information was published on December 19 by the Public Opinion Foundation (POM) on its website.

Thus, 78% of Russians declared confidence in Putin (unchanged for the week). In addition, most of the respondents (81% — plus 1 percentage point) are confident that the President of the Russian Federation is doing his job well as head of state.

The work of the government of the Russian Federation was also appreciated — 54% of the survey participants gave a positive reaction (plus 1 percentage point). 58% of respondents stated that the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin is working well (unchanged). At the same time, the level of support for the United Russia party was 42%.

According to a survey conducted last week, Putin's support level was also 78%. At the same time, other indicators have increased significantly over the past week before the "Results of the Year with Vladimir Putin".

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on October 24 that VTsIOM data, according to which Putin and the Russian military are trusted by the vast majority of Russians, are telling indicators. He noted that they are independently measured.
