Temporary flight restrictions have been lifted at the airports of Kaluga, Penza and Saratov. This was announced on December 19 by the representative of the Federal Air Transport Agency Artem Korenyako.
"Kaluga, Penza, Saratov airports — restrictions on the reception and release of aircraft have been lifted," he said in a message posted on his Telegram channel.
Korenyako clarified that these measures were taken to ensure flight safety. He also added that during the period of restrictions, one plane flying to Kaluga flew to an alternate airport.
Restrictions were announced at the airports of Kaluga, Penza and Saratov earlier that day. At the same time, Korenyako said that restrictions had been introduced in the Tambov airport.
