The participants of the European Union (EU) summit have decided to extend anti-Russian sanctions against Russia. This was announced on December 19 by the head of the European Council, Antonio Costa.

He added that the EU summit instructed the European Commission (EC) to continue working on a "reparation loan" to Kiev based on Russian assets.
