A resident of Kamchatka was found guilty of calling for terrorism on the Internet
The Pacific Naval Military Court has convicted a resident of the Kamchatka Territory for publicly calling for terrorist activities through the Telegram messenger. This was reported on December 19 in the press service of the regional department of the FSB.
It is specified that the man posted materials in the messenger, which contained calls for violence against public figures and representatives of the authorities.
"A resident of the village of Milkovo was found guilty of publicly calling for terrorist activities using the Internet. <...> The crime was identified and investigated by employees of the Federal Security Service of Russia for the Kamchatka Territory," RIA Novosti quoted the press service as saying.
The FSB added that now a man cannot publicly post appeals and other materials on the Internet for three years. In addition, he is obliged to pay a fine of 500 thousand rubles.
On December 17, the FSB Central Control Center of Russia reported on the detention in Sochi of a father and daughter who were collecting information about the Russian army and planned to take part in the Ukrainian conflict on the side of Kiev. To do this, they were going to join the Ukrainian paramilitary force.
