Russian drone operators thwarted an attempted counterattack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Gulyai-Pole

The operators of the Vostok group's unmanned systems destroyed an M113 armored personnel carrier and a Humvee armored vehicle of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) and disrupted a counterattack by Ukrainian militants in Gulyai-Pole. This was announced on December 19 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

It is specified that the calculations of reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) noticed the movement of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, after which successive and precise strikes were carried out on the detected targets.

The ministry added that in the same area, enemy vehicles that were transporting manpower were identified and destroyed.

On December 18, the Ministry of Defense announced that the Grad multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) of the 35th army of the Vostok group of forces had destroyed the AFU strongholds in Gulyai-Pole. As a result of the strike, the Ukrainian Armed Forces militants lost the opportunity to hold their defenses deep in the village.
