Tankers of the Vostok group of forces destroyed the points of deployment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Gulyai-Pole

Tankers of the Vostok group of forces destroyed temporary deployment points and manpower of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in Gulyai-Pole. This was announced on December 19 by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

According to the agency, during aerial reconnaissance, operators of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the Vostok group of forces discovered temporary deployment points of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, equipped in the urban area of Gulyai-Pole. It is specified that Ukrainian militants were seen in the buildings. After clarifying the coordinates and assessing the situation, tank crews on T-80BVM tanks moved to the area of the task.

The ministry reported that the tankers secretly occupied closed firing positions, which provided the opportunity to conduct targeted fire on the detected objects. The fire was directed at buildings and structures that the enemy used to house units. Thanks to accurate strikes, the targets on the ground and the enemy's manpower were destroyed.

On December 18, the Ministry of Defense announced that the Grad multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) of the 35th army of the Vostok group of forces had destroyed the AFU strongholds in Gulyai-Pole. As a result of the strike, the Ukrainian Armed Forces militants lost the opportunity to hold their defenses deep in the village.
