Putin will deliver a New Year's address from the Kremlin
Russian President Vladimir Putin will traditionally deliver a New Year's address to Russians from the Kremlin. This was announced on December 19 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.
"Putin always stands on New Year's Eve and congratulates Russians on the street [against the background of the Kremlin walls]. It will be the same this year," he said in an interview with TASS.
In addition, the presidential press secretary added that Putin's congratulations have not yet been recorded.
