Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin signed an order granting the status of a wedding palace to the Zelenograd, Tagansky and Mitinsky departments of the Registry Office. This was announced on Thursday, December 18, on the website of the Moscow City Hall.

The decision became part of the city's program for the renovation and development of sites for the solemn registration of marriage. So, in 2024, after a comprehensive renovation, the Zelenograd Registry Office department was opened, and in 2025, the updated Tagansky and new Mitinsky departments began work. Now all three are officially included in the number of wedding palaces of the capital, the Moscow City News agency reports.

Since 2019, non—standard platforms of the New Addresses of Happiness project have been actively developing in the city - today there are more than 30 of them. In general, there are about 200 places for marriage in Moscow, including 11 wedding palaces, exit sites and public service centers, Moscow 24 writes. In 11 months, more than 86,000 marriages were registered in the city, most of which took place in a solemn atmosphere.
