On December 18, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) reported the loss of a Mi-24 helicopter along with its crew during a combat mission.

"During a combat mission, the crew of a Mi-24 helicopter was killed," the 12th Separate Army Aviation Brigade said in a statement posted on Facebook (owned by Meta, a company that is recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation).
