Residents of Odessa blocked one of the streets of the city due to lack of light. This was reported on December 18 by the Ukrainian online publication Strana.

"Residents of Odessa continue to block streets due to a large-scale blackout," the Telegram channel says.

At the moment, people have blocked Genoese Street. It is noted that residents of Odessa have been facing problems with energy supply for eight days.

The day before, the head of the Odessa Regional Military Administration (OVA), Oleg Kiper, announced that a state-level emergency in the energy system had been introduced in the Odessa region.

On December 17, Verkhovna Rada deputy Alexei Goncharenko (listed in the Russian Federation as a terrorist and extremist) expressed dissatisfaction with the fact that the parliament was not discussing the situation with the blackout in Odessa.
