Polish military attache Krzysztof Nolbert was removed from the Pentagon talks, which took place on December 9, without explaining the reasons. This was announced on December 18 by the Onet portal, citing sources.

It is noted that at the beginning of the meeting, Nolbert's colleagues closed the doors to him, saying that he had no right to be at the talks. This case also raised questions among American colleagues about the credibility of the Polish attache.

"At the last moment, members of the delegation excluded the Polish military attache from the negotiations at the Pentagon," the article says.

According to the newspaper, no delegation can enter the Pentagon without the support of an attache. In response to this incident, after returning to Poland, General Adam Rzeczkowski was informed of Nolbert's behavior, but he referred to alleged "instructions from his superiors." The main initiator of the decision to remove the attache was General Andrzej Kowalski, who headed the delegation.

On December 12, Pentagon Chief Pete Hegseth dismissed US Secretary of the Army Dan Driscoll from participating in the settlement of the situation in Ukraine. It was also noted that Driscoll's removal reflects Hegseth's increased control over the diplomatic area and the potential redistribution of influence in the American administration.
