37 thousand coniferous trees were brought to the Christmas markets of the Krasnodar Territory. All shipments are monitored by Rosselkhoznadzor specialists.

New Year's trees come from seven regions of Russia — Bashkortostan, Udmurtia, Perm Krai, Chelyabinsk, Penza, Kirov and Ulyanovsk regions. A prerequisite for import is the availability of a quarantine certificate. This is necessary to protect against pests of the forest fund and agricultural lands, writes KrasnodarMedia news agency.

Kuban cities are preparing for the arrival of tourists for the New Year holidays. More than 35 thousand travelers will visit Gelendzhik alone in late December and early January. Residents and guests of the city were asked not to launch fireworks on New Year's Eve.
