Four people were injured in an accident on a highway in Buryatia

Two passenger cars collided head-on on the federal highway R-258 Baikal in Buryatia. Four people were injured.

The accident occurred on December 18 in the territory of the Baikal region. According to the UlanMedia news agency, the 64-year-old driver of a Toyota Corolla Fielder car drove into the oncoming lane and collided with a Renault car driven by a 65-year-old man.

Four people were injured. Two children aged six and 12 were taken to the hospital. An accident investigation is underway.

Over the past day, 246 road accidents have occurred on the roads of Russia, in which 38 people were killed and 289 injured.
