The State Duma adopted in the first reading the law on restrictions for criminals abroad

On December 18, State Duma deputies adopted draft laws in the first reading that impose restrictions on fugitives from justice outside Russia, including blocking accounts and refusing to provide public services electronically.

The initiative, developed by the State Duma commission on the investigation of foreign interference led by Vasily Piskarev, will affect citizens who evade criminal responsibility, as well as those brought to administrative responsibility for a number of violations.
