This year, a number of projects have been implemented in the Eastern Administrative District aimed at ensuring comfortable and safe movement, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said on his personal blog. Based on the results of the work of the data center's road supervisors, 61 changes were developed and implemented on the district's roads.

According to the mayor of the capital, 20 pedestrian crossings and 10 safety islands were set up on the roads of the district, additional traffic lanes began operating on 15 sections of streets. Additional "waffle" markings were applied at seven intersections, and the speed limit changed on eight streets. As a result, the streets have become more comfortable for pedestrians, and the capacity of some sections has increased significantly.

So, at the request of residents of the Kosino-Ukhtomsky district, a pedestrian crossing and a security island were set up near house number three on Dmitrievsky Street. This ensured the safety of pedestrians on their way to the bus stop. And on the Projected passage No. 6603 from Vernissazhnaya Street to the Projected Passage No. 6604, the maximum speed was reduced to 30 km/h. As a result, numerous tourists visiting the Kremlin in Izmailovo were able to comfortably move through the streets and cross the road.
