Russia is preparing certain contacts with the United States to learn more about the proposals made by the European Union (EU) and Ukraine in the peace plan. This was stated on December 18 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, answering a question from Izvestia.
"We are indeed preparing certain contacts with our American counterparts in order to receive information about the results of the work that the Americans have done with the Europeans and with the Ukrainians," he said.
