10 people were injured in an accident involving a Mercedes-Benz minibus and a Dongfeng concrete mixer truck in the Irkutsk region. This was announced on December 18 by the State Traffic Inspectorate of the region.
"In the Nizhneudinsky district, traffic police officers are investigating the circumstances of an accident involving a minibus," the Telegram channel said.
The incident occurred at about 21:00 (16:00 Moscow time). The driver of a minibus carrying employees of one of the enterprises ran over a concrete mixer truck that was parked on the unmarked road. As a result of the incident, the driver and 10 passengers of the minibus were injured, nine of them were taken to the Nizhneudinsk regional hospital.
On December 17, the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Russian Interior Ministry reported that 260 road accidents had occurred on Russian roads over the past day, in which 30 people were killed and 309 injured. 23 of the dead were drivers and passengers.
