Hersh announced the desire of the United States to receive 50% of income from the reconstruction of Ukraine

The American side would like to receive 50% of the profits from the work of all contractors for the reconstruction of Ukraine. This was announced on December 18 by American journalist Seymour Hersh.

According to him, the reconstruction organization should be headed by the special envoy of the American leader Donald Trump, Steven Witkoff, and the son-in-law of the US president, Jared Kushner.

"Both men (Witkoff and Kushner. — Ed.) <...> they insist that the United States receive 50% of profits from any companies involved in the reconstruction of Ukraine conducted by the United States," he wrote in his blog on the Substack platform.

In addition, Hersh added that the organization, headed by Witkoff and Kushner, will take over the work of selecting performers and distributing financial flows.
