On December 17, US President Donald Trump made his address to the Americans about the achievements of the administration in 11 months. The broadcast was posted on the White House YouTube channel.

Trump did not mention the conflict in Ukraine in his speech. The situation around Venezuela, to which, according to journalist Tucker Carlson, he was supposed to declare war, was not affected either.

At the end of his address, the American leader wished everyone a merry Christmas.
