- The call center of the direct line with Putin reported on the leadership of social issues
Russians most often call the call center for receiving and processing requests for subsequent participation in a direct line with Russian President Vladimir Putin to resolve social issues. The head of the Popular Front of the Republic of Khakassia, Ksenia Buganova, told Izvestia correspondent Kirill Solodkov about this on December 17.
"Social issues are leading the way. <...> This is what people are most concerned about. It's also healthcare, it's some kind of benefits, it's a road, it's a communal apartment, it's what surrounds a person every day, what he faces. Naturally, if these problems exist, they make life very difficult for a person. And that's why they are already calling Vladimir Vladimirovich," Buganova said.
According to her, the call center staff received many requests to deal with the installation of ATMs in their small settlements, which are either missing or not at all. To withdraw a pension, as Buganova explained, some citizens have to travel to the nearest cities.
The woman noted that some particularly pressing issues had already been resolved. The people involved in its organization try not to postpone to a straight line those issues that need to be resolved as soon as possible.
"It's unusual for me to be very active (calling. — Ed.) young people aged 16, 17, 18 years. This is unusual for us," she summed up in an interview with Izvestia correspondent Solodkov.
Yevgeny Polyakov, another member of the Popular Front, added that Russians also use the hotline to resolve housing, communal services and road issues. He said that sometimes citizens call just to thank Putin. Polyakov added that during the conversation with his compatriots, he tries to find soothing and supportive words.
Izvestia reported on December 14 that the number of calls to the direct line with Putin, which will begin at 12:00 Moscow time next Friday, December 19, exceeded 1.2 million.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on December 17 that work on the questions received during the direct line has been underway throughout the year. A day earlier, he said that the media also has the opportunity to ask Putin a question.
