- The Italian Prime Minister called the inability to make decisions the main enemy of the EU
The real enemy of the European Union (EU) is the inability to make decisions. This was announced on December 17 by Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.
"Personally, I think it's useless, and perhaps even harmful, to throw arrows at an imaginary enemy, because the real enemy that needs to be fought is our inability to make decisions," she said in parliament.
In addition, she added that another opponent of the EU is the ideology of decline, which the union has adhered to in recent years. Meloni noted that the EU has chosen the path of "suffocating" regulation, which harms innovation.
