President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said in an interview with Newmax TV on December 18 that the actions of his American counterpart Donald Trump are close to the position of Minsk.

"I'm sorry for some indiscretion, I was the only President who not only supported Trump when he nominated himself for president, but also openly talked about it," the BelTA news agency quoted Lukashenko as saying.
