Air defense forces destroyed five aerial targets in Sevastopol

In Sevastopol, the air defense forces destroyed five air targets of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) over the Black Sea. This was announced on December 17 by Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev.

"In Sevastopol, the military is repelling the attack of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the air defense is working. 5 air targets have already been shot down," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

Razvozhaev added that according to the information of the rescue service, civilian facilities in the city were not damaged as a result of the incident. The governor also urged residents to remain calm and stay in safe places.

Earlier in the day, the air defense forces shot down 94 drones over Russian territory. Thus, 31 UAVs were eliminated over the territory of the Krasnodar Territory, 22 in the sky over the Rostov region, 10 over the Voronezh Region and eight each in the sky over the Saratov Region and the waters of the Azov and Black Seas. Four more drones were hit in the sky over the Volgograd region and three over the Bryansk region.
