Russia's first public entomological laboratory to open in Biocluster
The first public entomological laboratory in Russia will open in Pavilion No. 28 "Beekeeping" at VDNH, which is part of the Biocluster. This was announced on Wednesday, December 17, by the press service of the Moscow Department of Culture.
The pavilion became part of the country's only "Biocluster", which opened in the capital in the summer. Its space will house an entomological laboratory and the "Buzzing World" exhibition, which is scheduled to open to visitors on December 18, Moscow 24 writes. On this day, admission will be free as part of the Moscow Museum Week, and tickets for other dates can be purchased through the Mosbilet service.
It is also specified that the pavilion has been significantly updated: more than 40 display cases and 30 multimedia screens have been installed here, new layouts have been placed, six audio rooms and five interactive gaming and educational spaces have been equipped, the website notes kp.ru .
Visitors will be able to study insects under a microscope and participate in scientific and educational programs. According to him, the laboratory is equipped with modern optical devices with the ability to display images on a large screen, and classes will be adapted for different age groups — from preschoolers to adults, writes IA Regnum.
The department added that excursions, workshops and practical exercises will also be prepared for the guests, the Moscow City News Agency reports.
